Babytol D3 + K1 is a combination of vitamins essential for your baby from its birth. These vitamins are designed for newborns who are breastfed because breast milk does not contain sufficient amounts of these vitamins. In addition, babies who are on a mixed diet, up to two meals of adapted baby milk a day, should take Babytol D3 + K1. Vitamin D3 is a “sunshine” vitamin. It is recommended in a daily dose of 400 IU from the 8th day of life because it is extremely important for proper bone and tooth growth. The lack of vitamin D3 can cause bone fragility, demineralization and brittleness, that is, a disease called rickets. Vitamin K1 is also called “coagulation vitamin”. It is recommended in a daily dose of 25 mcg from the 8th day to the end of the third month after birth because it is extremely important for the synthesis of coagulation factors and your baby’s healthy blood system. Prolonged prophylaxis of vitamin K1 is recommended in a dose of 25 mcg from 8. day of life till the end of third month after birth.
